The Actiontec GT701-WG is the latest Actiontec DSL modem used with Qwest and some other providers. It includes:
  • Built-in 802.11 b/g wireless on board
  • One Ethernet port
  • One USB port
  • DSL line in and Phone out RJ-11 jacks
  • 160 Mhz processor and 16MB of memory
  • The GT701-wg includes two service indicator LED's.  1) DSL LED identifies when the GT701-wg has trained to the DSLAM and 2) Internet LED identifies when the GT701-wg has authenticated with the ISP and is ready to surf the web.  Note:  In RFC1483 bridging mode only the DSL LED will illuminate when trained.  The Internet LED will not illuminate. It also includes a Power, Ethernet, USB, and Wireless LED indicators

The router includes an installation buddy that guides the user through the hardware installation, installs the software, and provisions the PC for DSL service. However, it also has a web interface to configure the modem. The web interface is found by going to the following web address in your browser with the modem configured.
